About Us

Taxidermy is a form of wildlife art. It is not only intended to display the animal but to recapture a moment and preserve the experience or memory.

I hope you enjoy this website and if you have any questions, I would love to answer them
for you.

I started Dawn ’til Dusk Taxidermy Over 30 years ago. Originally the business was located in Grand Forks and then Prince George, the lower mainland, Kamloops, and finally Sorrento where I have been for the last 17 years.

Inspired by a first place and best of show award for a whitetail shoulder mount from my first attendance at the International Taxidermy Competition in Calgary, I continued to compete with similar results.

I am an avid hunter and enjoy spending time outdoors. I have also been involved in the Guide and Outfitting industry.

I have 2 assistants now, both very talented and capable women who are helping me to keep up and make Dawn ‘til Dusk Taxidermy the best that it can be.

I have a diploma in Renewable Resource Management, Fish, Wildlife and Recreation Option from B.C.I.T. and a diploma from the Western Canada School of Taxidermy as well as a Certificate of Achievement from the Bird Specialist Master Taxidermy Studio. These assets have played an important part in the development of my skills and reputation as a taxidermist. Most importantly, I am one of those people who are fortunate enough to earn a living doing something I love and I believe that shows in my work.
